Exciting news, Cardinals!
We are happy to announce that on November 14, 2023, we will be opening our new “Drive to 5” option. This pick-up and drop-off area is intended to contribute to a safer arrival and dismissal for all, but it depends on drivers to do the right thing.
Drivers are expected to:
- Watch for children – Safety first!
- Parking is limited to 15 minutes
- Drive slowly – 10 kph max – Speed limits will be posted and signs need to be respected
Things to consider:
- Look for the entrance off Dundas Road.
- Please note, there will be NO staff supervision in this area.
- Safe arrival and dismissal procedures still apply.
- Young children must be accompanied to and from school.
Do your part to keep this area safe for everyone – dangerous and illegal driving will not be tolerated. If traffic behaviours threaten student safety, restrictive actions will be taken. If these behaviours worsen, this area may be closed.
